Your responses are reviewed by the OPT-OUT California team at Informed Parents of California. They are used solely to improve our services, resources, and advocacy efforts. Your information is never sold or shared with outside organizations.
No. Identifying information is entirely optional throughout the survey. You may complete it fully anonymously if you prefer. If you do provide contact details and opt in to follow-up, we will only use them in the way you specify.

Yes — and we encourage you to. The survey includes questions about school response, administrator resistance, and any negative treatment your child may have experienced. If you need immediate support with a retaliation situation, please call the OPT-OUT California Helpline at (669) 307-1953 rather than waiting for a survey response.
Yes. The survey includes an option to indicate whether you'd be willing to share your experience publicly — with your name, anonymously, or not at all. We will always ask before publishing anything, and we will never attribute a story to you without your explicit permission.
